What Is Good?

My initial idea was keys, they unlock things, they keep things hidden, they release, etc. So I began looking into the types of Keys people have, what they unlock, bunches of keys etc.

More colour process experimentation.

Edit; Irony of it, because I didn't convert these images into RGB they changed colour when I uploaded these on here, will post the proper versions above.

Print dev.

For the print brief, I had to choose an image from my summer research that I would use to experiment with over this brief, from the development below here you can see the image in its current final stage.

Rob Ryan

I'm absolutely in love with his screen prints & paper cuts, a different approach to illustration that I'm feeling quite inspired to perhaps indulge in once researched the processes undertaken.

Summer

It's been too long since I've posted, I'm sat here currently with a head full of cold and a hair full of bleach wishing I'd kept this thing much more updated over the summer, it's almost over too, with just a week left til we return to Uni I'm wishing I'd escaped and actually gone on holiday this summer rather than had to slave away at my job to fund myself throughout this next term.

Welcome back.

My favourite advert ever.

Beautiful, love the imagery and the music, along with the monologue over the top, perfection.

Maybe it's just my love for masks..

Charlotte Thomson

Bit of artist research here, thought I'd show the lovely work of Miss Thomson on here since it's given me a push towards using my illustrations to promote my Burlesque troupe.

"Charlotte Thomson is a Nottingham based artist & illustrator well known for creating retro and vintage inspired art and design. She specialises in creating fun and evocative images, especially portraiture and works heavily within the Uk burlesque & entertainment scene. Charlotte's work is highly influenced by the fashions and imagery of eras such as the 1940s & 50s & the Belle Epoch"

Fantastic Aparatus

Found this video, directed by Marcus T. Diamond, for the band Dartz! (seriously, check those boys out), loved the chaos animated throughout the video, and the messy approach, oh and I quite liked...the.. typography within it, pheww.
